Hyaluronic acid and liposomes

SICCOSTIL® SPRAY ocular is a product for ophthalmic use for dogs, cats, non DPA horses and rabbits. It consists of a sterile, isotonic saline solution with Hyaluronic Acid and Liposomes intended to lubricate, moisturise, refresh and protect the ocular and periocular surface.
SICCOSTIL® SPRAY, thanks to its dispenser, produces a gentle atomisation of the solution, effective both with the eye open and closed, providing relief also to the eyelid and periocular area in case of dryness, dehydration and hypersensitivity. Locally applied Hyaluronic Acid is a polymer that lubricates, moisturises and protects the ocular surface by stabilising the aqueous layer of the lachrymal film. Phospholipid matrix liposomes (phospholipid bilayers) are phospholipid bilayer structures that have a high moisturising action and help prevent the rapid evaporation of water molecules from the tear film, favouring its stability and persistence on the ocular surface.
SICCOSTIL® Spray contains no preservatives, Benzalkonium chloride, Chlorhexidine, Parabens and Thimerosal, making it highly tolerable and suitable even for frequent and long-term application.

DIRECTIONS
  • Retirer le bouchon et tenir fermement le flacon dans la main dominante de manière à ce que le pouce ou l'index soit fermement appuyé sur le distributeur, en veillant à ne pas couvrir l'orifice de sortie.
  • Maintenir la tête de l'animal immobile en retenant le museau avec la main non dominante.
  • Approcher le flacon à une distance d'environ 10 cm de l'œil et exercer une pression ferme sur l'embout.
  • Il est recommandé d'effectuer deux pulvérisations deux à trois fois par jour. Récompenser l'animal après l'application.
COMPOSITION

Purified water, Soya phospholipids (Liposomes), Polyethylene glycol-400 (PEG-400), Boric acid, Sodium chloride, Sodium tetraborate, Disodium edetate, Carboxy methyl beta glucan, Polyhexamethylenbiguanide (PHMB), Sodium hyaluronate.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AND WARNINGS
  • Ophthalmic product for external veterinary use.
  • Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle.
  • Do not use the product after the expiration date stated on the packaging.
  • Allow 10-15 minutes between the application of Siccostil Spray and any additional medication or products for external ophthalmic use.
  • Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility to any component of the preparation.
  • Use the bottle within 90 days of first opening.
  • Close thoroughly after use.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
  • Keep away from heat sources, store in a dry place between 5 and 35 °C.
  • Do not discard the container in the environment after use.
