INDICATIONS FOR USE
SICCOSTIL® TOTAL ocular drops is a preservative-free and phosphate-free ophthalmic solution indicated for dogs, cats, non-food horses, and pet rabbits. Hyaluronic acid 0.4% provides deep hydration and lubrication, while GXG (tamarind seed polysaccharide) has structural characteristics similar to mucins (MUC1-like structure) found in the tear film, which naturally act as a defensive and stabilizing barrier against irritants.
The combination of these two functional substances allows a synergistic activity to normalize the corneal/conjunctival surface, which is protected from irritations caused by environmental physical factors or mechanical causes, providing prolonged relief. It offers immediate relief in cases of moderate to severe dry eye or associated environmental stress.
Remove the safety ring by lifting the tab, take off the bottle cap, and hold the bottle between the thumb and index finger of the dominant hand.
- Hold the animal’s head steady by holding the muzzle with the non-dominant hand,
- place the dominant hand sideways over the animal’s head to gently pull the upper eyelid with the outer edge of the little finger to facilitate eye exposure,
- position the bottle above the eye and instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the eye 2-3 times daily, applying gentle pressure to the bottle body.
- Reward the animal after application.

- Avoid touching the eye with the tip of the bottle.
- Do not use the product after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
- Allow 10-15 minutes between instilling Siccostil Total and any instillation of drugs or products for external ophthalmic use.
- Close the bottle tightly after each use, ensuring no residual drops remain on the tip; if necessary, flick them off with a sharp wrist movement.
- To prevent bottle breakage, do not release more than 30 consecutive drops.
- Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity or intolerance to any component of the preparation.
- Use the bottle within 90 days after first opening.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- Store below 25 °C.
- Do not dispose of the container into the environment after use.
